Autumn Winter 2013
For this season, Aurora Borealis, Moga E Mago follow a glass-skinned winter goddess through surreal nordic scenery, enlightened by psychedelically blazing polar lights and golden stars. The colourful veil of the aurora borealis is epically blazing under the mystical depth of an inky polar sky. The mood of the light is fluctuating from cheerful abandon to gripping drama. Psychedelic and colourful polar lights are caressing the glassy skin of a Moga E Mago winter goddess who seems to have captured them in her bewitching, brightly coloured fox-cape. Her inky dress is absorbing our minds. Her hands and arms are covered in black leather. Our gaze is imprisoned by golden rivets decorating her shoulders like caged stars. Magical structures, shaped like air molecules, unseen before, are breaking our reality like the air molecules in the sky are breaking up the light to the unrecognizable wonder of Aurora Borealis. Aurora Borealis focuses on eccentric bright furs, embracing the psychedelic colours of the natural phenomenon of the northern lights. Finely embroidered evening gowns as mystic as the black depths of a nordic polar night and deep black leather pieces adorned with air-molecule- structures and intricate leather chains connected by golden rivets sparkling like stars at the dark, clear and freezing winter sky, complete the new Moga E Mago collection. photography ralf schmerberg, styling and make up yeorg kronnagel, model megg morales -
Spring Summer 2013
photography ralf schmerberg ‚El Alba’ captures an elusive moment in time on the sands of exotic and forgotten shores. The sun begins to rise on a 1920s era Brighton Beach and transforms the coast into a 1965 San Franciscan shore in Mexico. The glimmering sunlight touches the crests of waves and the folds of golden dresses that adorn beautiful creatures dancing on the sand. continue -
Autumn Winter 2012
photography madame peripetie ‚Il Salone’ is about a whole world of imaginary social arrangements and attitude poetically longing to amuse you refining your taste. MOGA E MAGO inspiringly invite you to participate to this scintillating public sphere following Horace’s definition of the aims of poetry: ‚either to please or to educate’. More than our times’ lack of positive progression and its vision of the world’s evil order become manifest in decadence and narcissism, should ‚Il Salone’ lead to a wing-flapping, lavish celebration of MOGA E MAGO’s interpretation of the salon as a legendary, spectacular gathering where the guests become dreamers for whom the line between the real and the supernatural starts to blur. -
Spring Summer 2012
photography madame peripetie ‘Flying Feather Fish’ come as a whirring apparition on the edges of reality, almost as if ephemeral fever became visible. ‘Flying Feather Fish’ is a fleet psychedelic observation whose magic is kept for the first time in this MOGA E MAGO collection. Except for metal trimmings is all of the collection handcrafted of material of animal origin. Combinations of salmon leather, feathers, and fur perfectly accentuate this psychedelic tapestry of a new era of MOGA E MAGO philosophy where the uniqueness of the workmanship is underlined given the handicraft of a fashion atelier.
